Carmine's NYC 2450 Broadway @ 91st Street
If you have never been to Carmine's, please make a note of this for your next group gathering, e.g. birthday , family get together, out of town visitors. Atmosphere noisy by 7:00pm,
food portions plentiful, service friendly and efficient, and the menu "family Italian" comfort food.
The only reason I mention Carmine's at all is that I used to visit Carmine's @ 200 West 44th Street and really enjoyed eating there with friends....being there today reminded me of how nice a restaurant it is and that some things just can't be improved upon over time.
But I will say that it takes some effort to maintain that quality. By the way.... the pasta is fabulous... it reminded me of the Bartolini Bronzed Died Pasta..
